Do you need to be able to read music? 

No, you don't need any prior musical knowledge to do these lessons. From day one, Benny will introduce you to basic theory and ABC notation, and while the option of staff notation is available, it is not necessary to get the most from the course.

What type of accordion do I need?

The course is for the button accordion in the key of B/C (21 button minimum). While there are many topics covered that would be of interest to all accordion players (and more instrumentalists) it wouldn’t have been possible to cater to all types of accordions without confusing everybody.
